2023 Teddy Bear Drive

We had a very successful teddy bear drive last Friday at Hunters with the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida! In addition to collecting 5 huge bags of “live” teddy bears for children in the Broward Health system, we also received over $2,500 in cash donations. Thank you to all who participated! We use these donations to buy new bears directly from a manufacturer and add them to the bears we collect locally.

Many guys have been asking how they can still participate in the bear drive if they weren’t able to attend Fur Friday.

Here are 3 options for you:

1) If you’re coming to the BOSFL holiday party, bring a teddy bear with you.

2) If you’re attending either of the GMCSF concerts at Sunshine Cathedral or Hard Rock Live, the Chorus will be collecting bears at both events.

3) Make a cash donation using the link below. The teddy bears we order cost about $5.00 each. All donations bring a smile to a child.
