At The Bears of South Florida, our volunteers are the heartbeat of everything we do. With over 200 dedicated individuals giving their time and energy, we’re able to create the vibrant events and meaningful experiences that bring our community together. Our volunteers are everywhere—greeting members at the door, setting up and breaking down events, bartending, selling merchandise and raffle tickets, running our booth at Pride, and handling the behind-the-scenes work that makes everything flow smoothly. From the first hello to the final goodbye, volunteers make it all happen. What makes our volunteer community so special is the passion and diversity each person brings. Some have been with us for years, while others join when their schedules allow. Some bring specific expertise, while others simply bring enthusiasm and a desire to help.
